Description

The Nike Air Zoom Structure 21 is the new edition of the most popular running shoe from american brand with pronation support. Although its counterpart for neutral runners is the well-known Air Zoom Pegasus 34, sales figures from Air Zoom Structure 21 are far away regardless acceptable price tag. Featuring attractive design, around 5% weight cut and more cushioning than response, it is a great choice for daily training and long runs.

Few differences found compared to its predecessor Air Zoom Structure 20 are located in the lighter upper featuring typical internal straps (Dynamic Fit) and latest development of trendy and soft FlyMesh fabric with bigger ventilation holes to improve breathability. FlyWire cables are partially hidden between layers for improved comfort and snug fit so there is more space for larger Nike logo (Swoosh) which is made of reflective material to increase visibility under poor light conditions.

Rest of Air Zoom Structure 21 keeps what is working fine with different densities in midsole for progressive pronation control (Dynamic Support) featuring great stability and smooth transition. Also remains the classical Zoom Air® unit embedded in forefoot to promote a bouncier response. As expected after radical change in last edition, outsole keeps its honeycomb pattern with multiple lug sizes to better adapt to the ground while lateral crash rail includes several grooves to increase flexibility and traction.
