Only a few tweaks have been necessary to launch the Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 6 to the market. After the revolution of the previous edition, the American brand has opted to improve small things while maintaining a modern and attractive design, something that has dragged its sister collection Wildhorse 6. Both the contained weight (it actually drops slightly) and the 4 mm of drop to enjoy running in the mountains are maintained.
The few changes from its predecessor Zoom Terra Kiger 5 shoe is in an upper that aims for more breathability and a better fit. The fabric in the back has been replaced by a lighter one while maintaining the structure and the patch that joins it with the rest of the mesh has been moved so that the support of the whole is improved. Both the forefoot reinforcement and a redesigned heel area attachment remain.
The rest of the Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 6 remains largely unchanged with a React midsole combined with a Zoom Air pad hidden in the rear and improving cushioning performance. Partially visible in the forefoot is the segmented anti-rock plate through the holes in the outsole, which not only protects against sharp elements such as rocks but also provides extra rigidity to the shoe. The outsole continues with its clearly zoned configuration with the center piece specially designed for wet surfaces.
