Description

The Saucony Kinvara 7 remains true to abundant cushioning and great response (still 4 mm drop) principles from the popular saga but has changed a lot from the first release due to much more complex construction. Current edition features a firmer ride with Saucony's latest technology EVERUN replacing good old friend PowerGrid making modern Kinvara 7 one of the best models out there for natural running.

Upper has been upgraded from its predecessor the Kinvara 6 with a more open mesh in the forefoot for enhanced breathability while FlexFilm™ overlays provide lightweight structure with seamless feel. Even it is not the most loved feature for Kinvara's fans, it also includes Pro-lock™ straps for improved midfoot fit. Typical Saucony brand logo has been moved forward and is the biggest reflective element in order to increase visibility under poor light conditions.

Major change in Kinvara 7 takes place in midsole with mentioned EVERUN replacing PowerGrid™ on top of SSL EVA. It promises an improved response with firmer cushioning but we will need to wait until unbiased tester reports are available to confirm that assertion. Outsole gets TRI-FLEX design (first seen in premium Triumph ISO 2) in the forefoot for more flexibility to produce a smoother toe-off. Materials don't change with softer rubber (IBR+) in the forefoot to enhance cushioning and harder carbon one (XT-900) in more exposed areas for longer durability and better grip.
