Description

The premium Saucony Triumph ISO 3 tries to amend in current annual update some issues regarding top technologies from american brand like EVERUN, centering Landing Zone for improved shock absorption, and ISOFITâ„¢ which is smaller to avoid friction in flex area. Plush cushioning and top materials are mandatory for high price shoe, but it is unknown how Triumph ISO 3 performs without feedback from unbiased runners. There is available an special edition (NYC) to celebrate popular New York City marathon.

There are several upper changes compared to its predecessor Triumph ISO 2 looking for more comfort although with thinner but still well padded tongue. As mentioned before ISOFITâ„¢ system removes third element closer to vamp to avoid friction and gets redesigned to adapt better to midfoot shape. Dual layer mesh in forefoot features increased breathability and improved fit. Heel counter has been reengineered to provide more appropiate stability and also includes reflective vertical strip for more visibility under poor light conditions.

The major change in Triumph ISO 3 is the relocation of EVERUN Landing Zone which is now centered under the heel while full-length EVERUN top-sole layer remains the same. Outsole gets minor redesign in rear side and flex grooves within TRI-FLEX configuration in the forefoot are deeper for improved flexibility and smoother ride. As many other Saucony running shoes, outsole is made of softer rubber (IBR+) in the forefoot to enhance cushioning and responsive ride and more durable carbon one (XT-900) in more exposed areas.
